The Rundown

Ugh. A lot has been going on lately. Here is the official rundown...

1. Finishing our basement into a 2 bedroom apt. Good times. Did most of the work and managed to not cut anything off.

2. Selling our house and moving. (the buyers wanted the basement done) Lots of work, lots of stress, lots of caffeine.

3. Looking for a new home base for my crazy cool family.

4. Starting a new business... fun and a lot of work. Everyone should "run the redrock" this September. Learn more at www.redrockrelay.com
the redrock relay mobile!

5. Having surgery and getting the toes on my left foot removed. (not true just seeing if you are still with me).

6. Prepping for a summer of triathlons. Our first race is May 30th www.racetri.com

7. Turning 31 years old. Not sure how I feel about this one. It is Heidi's favorite number so I am expecting a good year.

8. Rolling with my rough and tumble boyz. They are hilarious and kill me every day. Miles is a scrappy little bear cub and Luke is a great kid. The other day I was tucking Luke in with our standard super hero story and I started copying everything he said. He started laughing and getting so bugged with me. I thought to myself, "It is an honor to be the first person in his mortal life to do this to him." I am waiting for his newly learned skills to come back to haunt me in a few months.

9. Ready for a fun summer. Softball season is about to start and my recent cycle of roids is timed perfectly. Those Payson hicks don't stand a chance!

10. Yes, last but not least Carolina won.

Porter just figured out the copying game, without any help from me. He thinks it's hilarious, and likes to do it when he's in trouble and I'm trying to talk to him seriously. He'll copy what I'm saying and then announce "I'm teasing you, mom!"

So glad your toes are ok, it sure would slow you down in the races!

Ahhh..what a lovely surprise: a new post. Your truck looks great. You know where I'll be in September. The toes scared me...I felt quite the out-of-touch sister for a minute there. Luke and Miles made me laugh...as usual. I MISS them and cannot wait to see them tangle with Hamilton..I hope soon.

Oh and I think 34 might kill me. FYI.

Wow! You guys have been busy. I am impressed with all the stuff you have done. Congrats on the house selling, and the finishing of the basement. That is great... and a new business. Wow, trav. The truck looks pretty dang cool too. I will have to see if I can get my running game on.
And happy belated. We love you guys and really hope your new home base is really close to our home base.

I think it's healthy for you to vent a little bit and channel your stress into chuckles for other people.

I'd be laughing it up myself, but I'm feeling the triathlon season stress myself as your #3 volunteer (Heidi and Delys deserve places ahead of me).

Now get back to work, slacker!

It's about time we heard something new from you guys. I was wondering if you dropped off the face of the earth.

I had no idea we were selling your home. How come? I wish that we could sell our home with ease when the time comes. But since we are almost 80,000 upside down that isn't going to happen. Oh how I love the economy. Where are you thinking of moving to?

Happy birthday. If we would have known maybe Cam could have come up with his own arrangement of triple, dipple, do and sung it for you. Speaking of we don't have that original recording anymore. We definitely need another one.

Good luck with all your races.

If we don't get into to med school for August we are taking a trip to Utah in the fall. We'll keep you posted!
