President Hinckley's ministry affected my life in profound ways. He was my prophet for every important decision of teenage and adult life. I am truly grateful for his humble service to me and every other person who took the time to observe his example and listen to his message.
Thank You.

Dad called last night and told us. It's hard to imagine the next General Conference without him. He's been the Prophet of my adult life...I hope I can honor his memory by being much better at living my life more in line with all the Gospel principles he taught.
I remember Mom talking about driving to CCG listening to NPR when she found out President Kimball died. She cried most of the way to work. I understand a little more why she felt so sad and a little unsettled.
Thanks for the post, Travis.
Thanks Travis, very well stated.
I love that picture. Like Kate, I want to honor him by listening to and following his words.
I remember sitting in a little chapel in wales and listening to him and thinking, "I really believe this." Every time I heard him speak, I believed. Even when sometimes it seemed impossible. I will miss him.
and i miss you. come see us. until then. johnandashleyconnors.blogspot.com
The theme of our ward youth conference this year comes from Bryant S. Hinckley: "Forget yourself and go to work." We're hoping that advice will take root in their lives as it did in young Elder Hinckley's.
As for me, I'm also adopting President Hinckley's "Don't worry. It'll all work out."
